I am an Asst. Professor at the Dept. of Computer Engineering at Middle
East Technical University. I head the KOVAN research lab. I
worked as post-doctoral researcher at
IRIDIA for the Swarm-Bots
Project with Prof.
Marco Dorigo . Prior to this, I used to work at Starlab Research Labs.
I have my PhD
in Cognitive & Neural Systems
from Boston University , USA, where I
worked with Prof. Paolo
Gaudiano at the now-defunct Neurobotics
Lab . My MS is in Computer
Engineering from Middle East
Technical University , Turkey, and my BS is in Electrical and Electronics
Engineering from Bilkent
University , Turkey.
I am mainly
interested in adaptive autonomous agents. For those looking for
