Project Title Evolving probabilistic behaviors for a swarm of robots
Advisor Dr. Erol Sahin
Brief description The objective of this project is to study the evolution of probabilistic behaviors for a swarm of robots. The robots will be controlled by a neural network with random number generators. An evolutionary algorithm (such as GA, evolutionary strategies) will be used to evolve a probabilistic controller. Such controllers are expected to achieve optimum performance in swarm robotics. The project is likely be developed either using the TeamBots simulator, developed at Georgia Tech..
